Camera Angles
Through the implementation of numerous cameras placed carefully around the playing field allows the spectators watching at home to have increased immersion in the game. This is achieved through the improved coverage of the game, being filmed from angles such a top down view, from the bowlers end facing the batsmen, from the batsmen's end facing the bowler, side on to the batsmen and many other cameras that follow the path of the ball. With all these angles, spectators can feel as though they are amongst the players, immersed in the game which further improves the spectators appeal ensuring that the spectators watch the game for an extended period of time.
Social media
With the increased involvement of cricket players with social media, spectators can be further involved in the game as they can be immersed in the game outside the actual playing of it as players on social media are always putting out live updates of things such as the teams condition etc. Following the players on social media also increases the popularity of players as the spectators are more involved in their lives. Furthermore there can be other events that spectators can be notified through social media e.g. training sessions, autograph sessions.
Improved Stadiums
With the modernising of the cricket stadiums, the spectators have the best view possible of the game hence improving their immersion and involvement in the game. Furthermore there are more facilities available at the stadiums such as food kiosks therefore ensuring the spectators have access to everything they need to enjoy their time at the game.
